U.S. CME to Offer Futures Options Trading for Solana and XRP in October

CME to List New Futures Options for Solana and XRP

On the 16th, the CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange, announced plans to offer futures options trading for Solana (SOL) and XRP starting October 13, pending regulatory approval. Customers will be able to trade these options with daily, monthly, and quarterly expirations. Giovanni Biscioso, the global head of cryptocurrency products at the company, explained that this move comes in response to significant growth and increased liquidity in Solana and XRP futures. The contracts, offered in two different sizes, will provide flexibility to a broad range of market participants, from institutional investors to individual traders.
