Ripple's CTO David Schwartz to Step Down at Year's End

David Schwartz, Chief Technology Officer at Ripple in the United States, announced on the first of this year that he will be stepping down at the end of the year. Schwartz has been instrumental in the coding of the XRP ledger. Although stepping down from his current role, Schwartz is not retiring completely and shared the following: 'I am truly looking forward to spending more time with my children and grandchildren, and to revisiting hobbies that I have always cherished. However, just to be clear, I am not leaving the XRP community entirely. It will be some time before you see the last of me.'
