Tokenization of Assets like Pokémon Cards Could Be the Next Big Trend, According to Binance

On September 30, leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance published a blog post suggesting that tokenized assets, including Pokémon cards, could become the next big trend. Citing data from CoinGecko, the post reported that as of August 2025, the trading volume of tokenized Pokémon cards had already reached $124.5 million (approximately 18.3 billion yen). This figure represents only the tokenized market, excluding the physical market. Binance noted that tokenized Pokémon cards are backed by actual Pokémon cards securely stored in vaults, ensuring their authenticity and linking them to tangible assets.
