Spain's BBVA Bank Initiates 24-Hour Trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum

Launching 24-Hour Retail Trading

According to multiple international media reports, on October 3rd, Spain's major bank BBVA announced the launch of a 24-hour cryptocurrency retail trading service for individual investors, marking a first among the country's major financial institutions.

Customers will now have direct access to Bitcoin and Ethereum through the existing digital banking platform. The service has been approved by Spain's securities regulator CNMV, marking a significant milestone in the integration of digital assets into Europe's traditional financial system.

BBVA is the second largest bank in Spain, with over $900 billion in assets under management and approximately 70 million customers worldwide.
