Solana DEX Jupiter to Issue Its Own Stablecoin 'JupUSD' in Collaboration with Ethena

Launching 'JupUSD'

Jupiter, a decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator on the Solana (SOL) blockchain, announced on the 9th that it will launch its own stablecoin 'JupUSD'. The release is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. In issuing the stablecoin, Jupiter has partnered with stablecoin provider Ethena, and initially, JupUSD will be fully backed by Ethena's USD-denominated stablecoin, USDtb. USDtb is a token backed by BlackRock's BUIDL, a tokenized fund investing in short-term US Treasury securities.
