Cryptocurrency Worth 3.2 Billion Yen Stolen from Hyperliquid Users

Possible Theft of Cryptocurrency Worth 3.2 Billion Yen

Peckshield, a firm specializing in the analysis of cryptocurrency security, reported on the 10th that an address '0x0cdC...E955' had approximately $21 million (about 3.2 billion yen) worth of cryptocurrency stolen on the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid. While not providing detailed specifics, the analysis suggests that the cause was a leak of private keys. The attacker has reportedly moved the stolen cryptocurrency to the Ethereum blockchain. The stolen assets include cryptocurrencies like DAI (currently USDS) and MSYRUPUSDP, making it difficult to track the assets post-theft.
