On-chain data analytics firm CryptoQuant released its latest weekly report on the 8th, noting that despite Bitcoin (BTC) reaching a record high of $126,000 last Monday, profit-taking activities have remained subdued. This suggests that Bitcoin could continue to rise, as no ceiling is yet in sight. However, following the release of this report on the 10th, U.S. President Donald Trump warned of a significant increase in tariffs on Chinese goods. This announcement rapidly cooled investor sentiment, leading to a sell-off across risk assets, including stocks, impacting the broader market.
