OKX and Standard Chartered Expand Institutional Services to Europe

Enhancing the Security of Cryptocurrency Investments

On the 15th, cryptocurrency exchange OKX announced the expansion of its partnership with Standard Chartered Bank. The service expansion in the European Economic Area (EEA) includes the launch of a feature that allows institutional investors to reflect their balances held at Standard Chartered Bank on OKX while keeping their assets stored separately at the bank. This aims to reduce counterparty risk and enhance the security of assets. Counterparty risk refers to the risk of loss due to the failure of the counterparty (the other party in a transaction) to fulfill their obligations.
