Tempo, a payment-focused L1 blockchain supported by major U.S. payment processor Stripe and cryptocurrency VC Paradigm, has raised approximately 500 million USD (about 75 billion yen) in a Series A round led by Thrive Capital and Greenoaks, as reported by Fortune on the 17th based on insider information. Tempo's valuation stands at around 50 billion USD (approximately 750 billion yen), with participation from Sequoia Capital, Ribbit Capital, and SV Angel.
