OpenSea to Issue SEA Tokens in Q1 2026, Distributing 50% of Supply to the Community

Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea, which has transitioned from an NFT marketplace to a comprehensive cryptocurrency trading platform, announced on the 17th that SEA tokens will be issued in the first quarter (January to March) of 2026. According to the OpenSea Foundation, 50% of the total supply will be allocated to the community, with more than half of that being distributed at the initial claim. Initial users and reward program participants will be considered individually.
