Ethereum's 'Fusaka' to Introduce Transaction Gas Limits

The Ethereum (ETH) Foundation's research and development team announced on the 21st that the upcoming major upgrade 'Fusaka' will introduce EIP-7825. This change will limit the gas per transaction to approximately 16.78 million, a measure already operational on the Horensky and Sepolia testnets, and will be activated on the mainnet at the time of Fusaka's implementation.

Gas refers to the unit of computational cost required to execute transactions or smart contracts on Ethereum.
