Nomura's Laser Digital to Tokenize Investment Fund on Sei Blockchain

A new initiative has been launched by Laser Digital, a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, utilizing blockchain technology to expand its investment fund operations. The development was announced on October 22 by blockchain infrastructure firms KAIO and the Sei Network. The LCF, operated by Laser Digital under the Nomura Group, started in January this year targeting institutional investors. It generates revenue by capitalizing on interest rate differentials in cryptocurrency transactions and yields from staking cryptocurrencies. A distinctive feature of this fund is its operation with reduced exposure to market price fluctuations.
