A Turning Point in Cryptocurrency Regulation

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on the 23rd, President Trump has pardoned Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance. White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated on the same day, 'President Trump has exercised his constitutional authority to pardon Mr. Zhao, who was prosecuted under the Biden administration’s war on cryptocurrencies.'

During a press conference, President Trump said, 'What Mr. Zhao did was not even a crime. I granted the pardon in response to requests from many good people.'
