BTC and ETH as Loan Collateral

JP Morgan Chase, the largest financial institution in the US, plans to accept Bitcoin and Ethereum as collateral for institutional loans by the end of 2025. According to Bloomberg, this service will be deployed globally, and the cryptocurrencies used as collateral will be stored by a third-party custodian. The bank has already recognized ETFs linked to cryptocurrencies as acceptable collateral, and this new measure is an extension of that policy.
