MetaMask Moves to Full Multi-Chain Support, Integrating EVM and Non-EVM Addresses for Enhanced Convenience

On October 28, MetaMask, a major cryptocurrency wallet provider, announced the introduction of multi-chain account functionality. This new feature allows users to integrate token transactions and asset management across both EVM and non-EVM networks using a single account, eliminating the need for multiple accounts previously required. Previously, addresses on EVM and non-EVM chains had to be managed separately, and could not be displayed together. According to MetaMask, the company initially started as a wallet exclusively for the Ethereum chain but now supports multiple networks including Solana and others.
