Ripple's Stablecoin 'RLUSD' Surpasses $1 Billion in Circulation

Accelerating Corporate and Payment Adoption

Ripple's US dollar-linked stablecoin 'RippleUSD (RLUSD)' has surpassed a market cap of $1 billion (approximately 150 billion yen) in less than a year since its launch in December 2024. RLUSD is a trust-type stablecoin authorized by the state of New York, issued by Standard Custody under Ripple's umbrella. Its backing assets include US dollar deposits and short-term US treasury securities. It circulates on both the Ethereum and XRP Ledger, and is integrated into Ripple's payment network and liquidity services.
