New Layer 1 Blockchain 'Monad' Set to Launch Mainnet on November 24

A New High-Speed, Low-Cost L1 Chain

The Monad Foundation officially announced on the 6th that it will launch the mainnet of the Layer 1 blockchain project 'Monad' at 11 PM JST on November 24. Founded in 2022, Monad is a new Layer 1 blockchain project that has raised over $240 million, led by the cryptocurrency venture fund Paradigm. The project features compatibility with the Ethereum (ETH) Virtual Machine (EVM), a mechanism that executes Ethereum's smart contracts, enabling seamless integration and functionality with Ethereum's established ecosystem.
