Major US Brokerage Charles Schwab to Launch Cryptocurrency Trading by 2026

Supporting Bitcoin and Ethereum

Rick Wurster, CEO of major US brokerage Charles Schwab, reaffirmed in an interview with CNBC on the 6th that the company will start cryptocurrency trading in the first half of 2026. He stated that the company has achieved significant success in the cryptocurrency sector, highlighting its proactive stance. Wurster noted that Schwab's clients already hold about 20% of cryptocurrency-related Exchange Traded Products (ETPs), and access to cryptocurrency research sites has increased by 90% compared to the previous year. He mentioned that customers who entrust a significant portion of their assets to Schwab have expressed a desire for the initiation of cryptocurrency services...
