1.5 Million ETH Awaiting Staking Participation

The number of Ethereum (ETH) validators waiting to participate is on the rise, with approximately 1.5 million ETH currently queued for the staking system, as reported by The Block on the 7th. Ethereum operates a queue system that processes entries and exits of validators at a fixed rate (about every 6.4 minutes per epoch), a mechanism designed to prevent large-scale entries or exits from impacting network security.
