JPMorgan's Bitcoin ETF Holdings Increase by 64% Over Three Months

64% Expansion in Bitcoin ETF Asset Management

JPMorgan Chase significantly expanded its exposure to the Bitcoin spot ETF during the third quarter. According to the latest 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank added approximately 2.07 million shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), reaching a total of 5.28 million shares by the end of September. The value of these holdings was approximately $330 million at the end of the third quarter, marking a 64% increase from 3.22 million shares in June. However, these holdings are primarily through client asset management and brokerage services, and do not directly reflect JPMorgan's own investment decisions.
