JPMorgan's Bitcoin ETF Holdings Increase by 64% Over Three Months

During the third quarter, JPMorgan Chase significantly expanded its exposure to the Bitcoin spot ETF. According to the latest 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank added approximately 2.07 million shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), reaching a total of 5.28 million shares by the end of September. The value of these holdings at the end of the third quarter was approximately $330 million, marking a 64% increase from the 3.22 million shares held in June. However, these holdings are primarily through client asset management and brokerage services, and do not directly reflect JPMorgan's own investment decisions.
