JPYC Adopted as Partner Currency in Circle's On-Chain FX Network

JPYC Corporation, which issues yen-denominated stablecoins, announced on the 14th that it has joined the newly unveiled 'Circle Partner Stablecoins' program by U.S.-based Circle. In this program, JPYC has been officially adopted as the partner currency responsible for the Japanese yen currency zone. Circle, the issuer of the US dollar stablecoin USDC, leads the development of global remittance and digital payment infrastructures. Circle's initiative aims to establish an 'on-chain FX (foreign exchange) infrastructure' where USDC serves as the central currency, facilitating interoperability among various national fiat-denominated stablecoins.
