The Value of Bitcoin

Bitwise, a cryptocurrency asset management firm, had its Chief Investment Officer, Matt Hogan, describe Bitcoin (BTC) as a 'service' in a regular memo.

He argued that the value of Bitcoin lies in the service it provides, allowing for the storage of assets in digital form without reliance on governments, banks, or third parties. He noted that the number of institutional investors who desire this service and are investing in Bitcoin is increasing.
