Mid-Term Holders Main Source of Bitcoin Selling Pressure, Long-Term Large Investors Continue to Hold: VanEck Report

Asset management firm VanEck reported on the 19th that the recent selling pressure on Bitcoin (BTC) is not from long-term large investors but from mid-term holders. The company noted that Bitcoins held for over five years continue to increase, and sales are primarily concentrated among mid-term investors with a holding period of 3 to 5 years.

According to VanEck, following the flash crash on October 10th, approximately 49,300 BTC flowed out of Bitcoin ETPs (including ETFs), which corresponds to about 2% of the total assets under management.
