Cryptocurrency Groups Appeal to President Trump for Tax Reforms

Seeking Clarity in Taxation and Regulations

On the 20th, cryptocurrency industry groups submitted a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, requesting the issuance of guidelines on cryptocurrency taxation among other concerns.

The letter was signed by over 65 related organizations, including the Solana Policy Institute, Exodus, Misten Lab, and Uniswap Lab. It appears to urge immediate actions that can be taken even without new legislation.

The requests primarily focus on clarifying tax policies, regulatory frameworks, and protecting developers. These issues have already been highlighted as necessary in a report by the Trump administration's working group on digital assets.
