An extremely small-scale individual miner succeeded in mining a Bitcoin block on November 22, earning approximately $265,000 worth of 3.146 Bitcoins and transaction fees at current prices.

According to on-chain data, this miner was supplying just 6 terahashes per second (TH/s) of computing power at the time of mining the block. For reference, one terahash corresponds to one trillion hashes per second, and the commonly used industry measurement unit, the exahash, is equivalent to one hundred quintillion hashes per second.
