JP Morgan Chase, a leading US megabank, appears to be successively closing the bank accounts of individuals associated with the cryptocurrency industry. According to The Block, Houston Morgan, the Marketing Protocol Officer at ShapeShift, revealed that JP Morgan closed his business bank account on November 21 and has notified him that his personal account will also be closed within the week. Mr. Morgan, based in Los Angeles, California, pointed out that these actions were taken without any prior warning.
