Visa Expands Stablecoin Payments in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa through Partnership with Aquanow

On the 27th, payment giant Visa announced the expansion of its stablecoin payment capabilities in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa through a partnership with digital asset platform Aquanow.

By integrating Aquanow's digital asset infrastructure with Visa's technological base, issuers and merchant acquirers in Visa's network will be able to conduct transactions using approved stablecoins such as USDC. This integration is expected to result in cost reductions, improved operational efficiency, and shorter payment times.
