Nikkei Group QUICK Begins Calculation of Bitcoin Index

QUICK, a financial information service company of the Nikkei Group, began the full-scale calculation and publication of the 'QUICK Bitcoin Index', which represents the yen-denominated spot trading price of Bitcoin (BTC) traded domestically, on December 1. The index is calculated based on transaction data provided by domestic cryptocurrency exchange operators selected by QUICK. The calculation period is from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on securities business days, with the confirmed value determined at 3:30 PM.
