Launch of Bridge Between Solana and Base, Chainlink and Coinbase Ensure Safety

Coinbase-incubated Ethereum Layer 2 'Base' announced on the 4th that it has officially launched a bridge on the mainnet that enables token transfers between itself and Solana (SOL). By adopting Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol, Coinbase and Chainlink node operators independently verify all messages, ensuring security. With the operation of this bridge, developers on Base can now natively support Solana assets (SOL and SPL tokens) within their applications.
