BlackRock to Offer Staking Products, Launches Ethereum Spot ETF

Last Friday, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Ethereum (ETH) Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) equipped with staking capabilities. The product, named iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF, had its name registered in Delaware a few weeks ago. In the filing, BlackRock stated that the ETF aims to reflect the price performance of Ethereum and the rewards from staking part of the ETH, as long as the sponsor deems the legal and regulatory risks manageable.
