Strategy Acquires Bitcoin Worth Approximately 150 Billion Yen, Largest Purchase Since July

Total Holdings Reach 660,000 BTC

On December 8, Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) announced that last week it had purchased an additional 10,624 BTC for approximately $967 million (about 150 billion yen). The average purchase price per BTC was $91,615, making this the largest acquisition since July. The company's total holdings now amount to 660,624 BTC, valued at approximately 9.3 trillion yen at current prices. According to co-founder and chairman Michael Saylor, the company's Bitcoin holdings now exceed 3% of the total Bitcoin supply of 21 million coins.
