Michael Saylor Proposes a National Bitcoin Bank System

Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy Corp, the world's largest Bitcoin (BTC) holding company, proposed the establishment of a Bitcoin-backed digital banking system to national governments during his speech at the Bitcoin MENA Conference held in Abu Dhabi on the 8th.

Saylor pointed out that bank deposits in Japan and Europe yield almost no returns, and short-term financial products yield about 1.5% in euros and about 4% in the US.

"Investors are turning to the corporate bond market because they are disillusioned with bank accounts," he said, suggesting that Bitcoin-backed digital credit products could offer high yields while controlling volatility.
