Major US Bank CEOs to Discuss Cryptocurrency Market Structure Bill with Senators, Oppose Interest on Stablecoins

According to Bloomberg, Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup, and Charlie Scharf, CEO of Wells Fargo, are scheduled to meet with bipartisan US senators this Thursday to discuss the upcoming Cryptocurrency Market Structure Bill, also known as the Clarity Act. The meeting, organized by the Financial Services Forum, an alliance of major banks, will address the banks' opposition to the provision of interest on stablecoins and their competitiveness in the cryptocurrency sector.
