Tether's USDT Expands its 'Fiat-Referenced Token' Recognition in Abu Dhabi, Adds Nine Chains

Adds to Existing Three Chains Including Ethereum

Stablecoin issuer Tether announced on the 8th that its stablecoin, USDT, has been recognized as a 'fiat-referenced token' by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

Entities authorized by the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority can now offer regulated services using USDT on nine additional blockchains: Aptos, Celo, Cosmos, Klaytn, NEAR, Polkadot, Tezos, TON, and Tron.

USDT was previously approved on Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche. This new recognition significantly expands the range of blockchains supported.
