Coinbase Adopts Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Technology for Wrapped Tokens

Adopting Chainlink’s Technology

On November 11, major US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and oracle platform Chainlink (LINK) announced the use of Chainlink's products for Coinbase's cross-chain solutions for wrapped tokens.

Specifically, Coinbase has adopted Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Coinbase currently handles wrapped tokens such as 'cbBTC', a wrapped version of Bitcoin (BTC), with a total market capitalization of approximately $7 billion (about 1 trillion yen).
