Coinbase Set to Launch Prediction Markets and Tokenized Stocks, Reports Bloomberg

According to a report by Bloomberg on the 11th, Coinbase Global, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the U.S., plans to announce prediction markets and tokenized stocks on December 17. Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the company will reveal these products during a product launch event on the same day. The prediction markets will allow users to speculate on future events, while the tokenized stocks will enable the trading of digital representations of shares on the blockchain. Furthermore, Coinbase intends to issue these tokenized stocks internally, without external partners, thereby directly controlling distribution and market functions.
