Tether Considers Tokenization and Buyback of Its Own Shares

Tether, the issuer of the US dollar stablecoin 'USDT', is considering measures such as tokenization and buybacks of its own shares to secure their liquidity, as reported by Bloomberg on the 12th.

Previously, Tether executives denied such plans, but it has been reported that the company is discussing with investors to raise up to $20 billion (approximately 3.1 trillion yen).
