Proposal to Acquire Prestigious Italian Club Juventus

On December 12, stablecoin issuer Tether announced a proposal to acquire the prestigious Italian football club, Juventus. The plan involves purchasing all shares (65.4%) held by the holding company Exor in cash, and following regulatory approval, a public tender offer will be made for the remaining shares at the same price.

Juventus, founded in 1897, is a leading Italian football club with 36 Serie A championships to its name. It has supporters worldwide and is known as a historic team that has shaped Italian sports culture.
