Brazilian Financial Giant Itau Recommends Allocating 3% to Bitcoin

Recommending a 3% Bitcoin Allocation

According to a report by Brazilian local newspaper Criptofacil on December 12, major Brazilian financial institution Itau has recommended that investors allocate between 1% and 3% of their portfolios to Bitcoin (BTC) by 2026. Despite the ongoing price decline since the beginning of the year, the company analyzes that cryptocurrencies play a crucial role as a means of diversification and currency hedging. The report from the bank explained that Bitcoin behaves differently from stocks, bonds, and domestic markets. It stated that its global, decentralized structure creates unique opportunities in portfolios exposed to economic uncertainties and geopolitical tensions.
