U.S. CME Launches Spot-Settled Futures for XRP and Solana

CME Initiates Spot-Settled Futures for XRP and Solana

On the 15th, the CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange, launched spot-settled futures trading for XRP and Solana (SOL).

The spot-settled futures for XRP and SOL complement the existing spot-settled futures for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), and are tradable alongside the four major U.S. stock indices: S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, Russell 2000, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average. These contracts allow investors to hold positions at the spot market price without the need for frequent rollovers due to their longer duration.
