2025 Blockchain Popularity Rankings: XRP Makes Its First Entry into the Top 10, According to CoinGecko

Solana Tops the List for the Second Consecutive Year

Cryptocurrency data site CoinGecko announced on December 15 the most popular blockchain ecosystems of 2025. Solana (SOL) retained its top position for the second year, followed by Base and Ethereum.

CoinGecko's study analyzed interest in blockchain ecosystems based on global web traffic, excluding the site's own bots. The analysis covered the periods from January 1, 2024, to November 11, 2024, and from January 1, 2025, to December 14, 2025, focusing on listed coins with non-zero traffic shares.
