PayPal Launches PYUSD Savings Product with Spark, Offering 4.25% APY

Aiming for $1 Billion Target

On the 15th, PayPal, a major US payment processor, in collaboration with the decentralized finance (DeFi) platform Spark, began offering a savings product for its stablecoin 'PYUSD' called 'PYUSD Savings Vault'.

The product offers an annual percentage yield of 4.25%, with both companies aiming to expand the deposit balance to $1 billion (approximately 154 billion yen). According to Spark's website, this yield is on par with other major stablecoin savings products like USDC and USDT.
