Securitize to Launch Tokenized Stock Trading Next Year, Enabling 24/7 On-Chain Transactions

Securitize, a securities tokenization platform, announced that it will begin trading tokenized listed stocks in the first quarter of 2026. Unlike synthetic assets that track prices or IOUs to custodians, these are actual regulated stocks issued and traded on-chain.

Securitize functions as a registered transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, with blockchain serving as the official record of ownership. The tokens themselves are legally recognized stocks, and investors are directly listed in the issuing company's shareholder registry. They receive full shareholder rights, including dividends and voting rights.
