Tokenizing Shares on Solana

Forward Industries, a financial company holding Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency, announced on the 18th that its shares, registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), have been tokenized on the Solana blockchain.

The company had previously reported considering the tokenization of its shares, and has now utilized the SuperState platform 'Opening Bell' for the actual tokenization. The tokens can also be used on decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, the company explained.

The shares tokenized this time are the company's Class A common stocks...
