Ethereum Names 'Hegota' as the Next Upgrade Following Glamsterdam

Possible Two Upgrades in 2026 as Well

The next upgrade for Ethereum (ETH), following 'Glamsterdam', has been officially named 'Hegota' during a meeting on the 18th.

According to the Ethereum upgrade website 'Forkcast', the project is currently in the early planning stages, with the specific upgrade details to be proposed and discussed over the coming year. There is an expectation that Hegota will be implemented in 2026, and similar to 2025, Ethereum may undergo two upgrades next year.
