Asteria Announces 'JPYC Gateway' to Facilitate Corporate Use of JPYC

On the 18th, software development company Asteria announced the 'JPYC Gateway', designed to facilitate corporate use of the JPYC, a Japanese yen-denominated stablecoin. The beta version will be available starting January 13, 2026. JPYC, issued on October 27 as the first domestic money transfer agent-issued yen-denominated stablecoin, has faced several challenges in corporate utilization. These include managing wallet private keys, bearing the cost of gas fees in cryptocurrency transactions, and handling balance inquiries and accounting audits. The JPYC Gateway addresses these issues by supporting corporate use through both a web interface and integration with existing systems.
