2025 Cryptocurrency Derivatives Market Report: Trading Volume Surpasses ¥1300 Trillion, According to CoinGlass

CoinGlass, a cryptocurrency data analytics firm, has released a report reviewing the derivatives market in 2025.

According to CoinGlass, this year, the trading volume of cryptocurrency derivatives on centralized exchanges (CEX) reached approximately $86 trillion (about ¥1300 trillion). The daily average was around $2.645 trillion (about ¥41 trillion), with peak days in October seeing as much as $7.48 trillion (about ¥117 trillion) traded in a single day.

CoinGlass states that during phases of market acceleration, derivatives have become central to price discovery and leverage speculation.
