Advancing Towards a Future Centered on Zero-Knowledge Technology, Says Ethereum Foundation Head

Xiaowei Wang, co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated that Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK) are becoming increasingly important as a mid-term goal in Ethereum's (ETH) roadmap.

In an interview with cryptocurrency media CoinDesk, Wang highlighted 'numerous astonishing breakthroughs' in the past one to two years. She noted that ZK cryptography technology has become more feasible as a protocol-level function and asserted that steady progress is being made towards a future where ZK technology is at the core of the network.
