Over 10 Million Korean Users Affected: Google Play Store to Ban Unregistered Foreign Cryptocurrency Exchange Apps

Starting January 28, South Korea's Google Play Store will prohibit the distribution and updates of apps from foreign cryptocurrency exchanges and software wallets that are not registered with the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit (KFIU). According to Google's official policy page, platforms and developers must register as virtual asset service providers.
