Significant Theft Incident Leads to Capital Inflow into Monero

On January 17th, on-chain detective Zack XBT highlighted that the recent surge in Monero's value is linked to a major cryptocurrency theft incident. According to him, around 11 PM UTC on January 10th, victims lost approximately $280 million in Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) due to a social engineering scam targeting hardware wallets.
